Woman keeps stealing roommate's makeup, roommate swaps foundation with self-tanner: 'She waltzed out of the bathroom with an orange face'

It's important to set boundaries with your roommates from the get-go. Normally, you would think this is something most folks learn in college, but you'd be surprised how many fully grown adults have yet to learn these important lessons. For instance, when you first move in with someone, both parties need to establish which items (food, products, etc.) are communal and which ones should be privately used.

This Redditor had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with a roommate who refused to abide by the boundaries they had set. It started to really become an issue when she kept using the Redditor's makeup, including her beloved foundation, all the time and without asking. So, after numerous warnings went ignored, the Redditor decided to take matters into her own hands by enacting a little petty revenge. She swapped out the foundation her roommate loved to steal so much with a much cheaper brand mixed with self-tanning cream. The next she knew, her roommate was coming out of the bathroom looking like a full-on orange.
